William B. Connolly earned a B.A. from the University of Windsor (Ontario, Canada) in 1974 and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 1979. He is Board Certified in Family Law, Child Welfare Law, and Juvenile Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is also a Certified Child Welfare Law Specialist through the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC). He previously served as a Professor of Juvenile and Child Welfare Law at South Texas College of Law and has chaired the Juvenile Law sections of both the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
