Tamla Tymus Beverly is the founder of Tymus Beverly, PLLC, a family law firm serving Wake and Durham Counties, North Carolina. She has over 25 years of legal experience, including nearly a decade practicing family law in Charlotte, NC, and nine years as a senior staff attorney for the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Homeland Security. She returned to North Carolina family law practice in 2014 and has logged over a thousand courtroom hours on divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and marital property matters. She previously taught Family Law at Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and at her law school alma mater, North Carolina Central University School of Law.
