Melody is the Managing Member of Richardson Bloom & Lines LLC, where she focuses primarily on complex and high-asset matrimonial matters, drawing on almost 35 years of litigation experience. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (one of about 1,700 nationwide) and a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She served as a board member (2002-2010) and Chair (2009) of the Atlanta Bar Association's Family Law Section. As of 2026 firm/press sources describe her as semi-retired from the firm (now operating as Bloom Lines Alexander LLC) since March 2021.
