Zimmerman was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas, and earned a B.S. in Finance and Accounting (minor in Bible, Missions, and Ministry) from Abilene Christian University in 2007. He worked as a landman in Midland, Texas, researching real estate titles before entering Texas Tech University School of Law in fall 2010, graduating in December 2013 with a joint J.D. and MBA. He passed the Texas bar exam in 2014 and is now a partner at Blizzard & Zimmerman Attorneys, where he practices family law, civil litigation, probate, and personal injury law, and speaks Spanish, which he learned while living in Antigua, Guatemala.
