James W. Evans is a board-certified family law attorney and founder of Evans Family Law Group, licensed to practice law in Texas since May 1995. He began his career as an assistant criminal district attorney in Tarrant County, prosecuting domestic violence and family violence cases for about five years, before practicing commercial litigation and later joining his father's Austin practice. He has focused exclusively on family law since becoming a father in 2005, handling divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and related matters across Central Texas.
