James P. Cunningham is a partner at Williams Williams Rattner & Plunkett with over 30 years of experience in family law and divorce litigation. He has published ten appellate family-law decisions, including three before the Michigan Supreme Court, and has written more than twenty articles on family law topics. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and has held an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1988. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law (formerly Detroit College of Law) in 1980.
