She graduated cum laude from UCLA and received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she was Director of the Women's Law Journal and received Moot Court Honors and a Merit Scholarship. Prior to private practice, she externed at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office Organized Crime Division. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has provided pro bono representation to domestic violence victims.
