Emily Carico is a family law attorney originally from Galax, Virginia who earned a B.A. in English from Radford University and a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law. She spent nearly six years at Legal Aid of North Carolina before joining Camino Law in Greensboro to practice family law, and served as President of the nonprofit Court Support for Families (formerly Courtwatch of NC). Per a Camino Law Facebook announcement and Lanier Law Group's own site, Carico has since left Camino Law and, as of her current bio, practices personal injury law (including sexual-abuse litigation) at Lanier Law Group, P.A. in Greensboro, NC — she is no longer a family-law attorney at Camino Law.
