Chinaz Koch ("Attorney Naz") was born in the Kurdish region of Northern Iraq and has lived in Texas since 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M–Corpus Christi and worked as a probation officer in Nueces and Harris County before pursuing law. She earned her law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating magna cum laude, and later practiced personal injury law in Houston before establishing her current practice in Corpus Christi.
